Can you tell us a bit about this summer camp ? How long have you been aware of this project ? Who contacted you ?

I’m so excited to be a part of this great project. We’ll not stop in Paris. Our plan is to become world wide! But I can not imagine better city to start from Paris. This is an idea which brought Mr. Marzuki and I’d gladly accepted to be a partner in this project.

What relationship do you have with Mehdi Marzouki, one of our best French players and organizer of the event ?

We are friends from before, I knew him as a player but he is the first wp player that I am about to start some business in waterpolo sfera! I found him very serious and determined to make from Marzuki & Filipovic camp very serious event. I saw already how dedicated he is and I’m pretty sure that this will be only a beginning of great partnership in the future.

Why did you choose France, a player of your standing must have multiple solicitations for similar projects ?

Actually it was an idea of Mehdi, and I can assure you that I liked from the beginning! Everybody wants to organize somewhere out of the big cities. We decided to do it in central of Europe. I think that France has a lot of potential in waterpolo. I played against guys in past years. They don’t need much more to get to the highest level in waterpolo world today. You have infrastructure, economy power. All you need is « know how » . And that’s where my small roll is becoming to have a sense. In the future I will make sure that I bring with more Olympic champions who will be a star guide to young players…

What will be your role ?

I’m in charge for the program in the water. I’ll be responsible for all skills that we will try to introduce to our little friend.

Do you plan to organize internships again in France ?

Why not! Our idea is not to come and gone without leaving something to these kids, to French waterpolo at all. Off course that we will do our best to encourage other cities in France to be the part of this project. Everybody will be happy, especially when you have on mind that all activities will affect young people. They are the future of nation. And it’s much better to spend time on some sport activities, then spend it at home or on the street

We have the impression that France has passed a step since last year and this qualification to the Olympics. What image do you have of our nation? How does Europe see the French ?

You have a material, you just need a good diamond to brush them ! You showed this already so many times.

We allways finish our interview with the silly question : « what would be your conditions to come and play in France and in which club you could go ?

My only condition will be to play for the PSG Water-polo Club. I ‘m dreaming about that moment. And only the dreamers are about to live their dreams one day.
